8 Things From the Principal

Staff,

I have unsuccessfully tried to update this site, so will resort to a numbered document.
While nothing is current on the site due to my limited google sites prowess, there is a record of these e-mails I send.  I would hope, over the short term, to become more enabled in this domain and get this fully sorted out, making it a practical place for you to get info. The google address for this site is:

1.  PLC's will be led by Angela this week and next....you are a star lady. I will have a snack rota at the meeting and will provide treats tomorrow.

2. Chapel this week will be in a location yet to be determined as Tipunan and 121 are booked.  We are looking into the Meeting Hall, and will let you know where we are as soon as possible.

3. Outdoor Ed. will take me to Taal next week, so Steve Taylor will be in as the interim on Monday, 3 February while is at a workshop. Carol will be the at the helm Tuesday, 4 February through Friday, 7 February. Mark will be a squad leader on the same trip, so Mrs. Helwig will cover most of his classes and another yet to be determined person stepping in to fill the odd gap. Lenae will be on outdoor ed. too, with Mrs. Napper I think covering her classes.

Ladies and Gent,

The revised morning bell schedule for Mr. Schutt's 25th applies to Friday. Tomorrow will be a regular day.

25 teacher edstudents from Taylor University will be on campus tomorrow, and hope to pop in to classed for a brief visit some time after 9:45.  They will be in groups of 4 or 5 and are just there to observe.  Please welcome them, but do not feel you need to entertain them.

First Morning Bell Tomorrow

posted Jan 8, 2014, 12:09 AM by Trevor Maxwell

Ladies and Gent,

Due to our attendance at the flagpole at 7:10 for Mr. Schutt's 25th celebration, the first recess bell will sound at 7:00.  Students will be dismissed to classes as usual, for a quick turn around and off with you to the flag pole area.  Just find a place with your people in the general area, as no specified location has been set aside for the smalls.

Test Post

posted Nov 5, 2013, 9:58 PM by Trevor Maxwell

Staff,

With the help of my follicley challenged brother, Tony, we have a mechanism whereby any updates to this site will be met with an e-mail update noting such.  Hopefully this will allow me to send off snippets of information, rather than have to wait a week, or write individual e-mails.  Further, it will provide and archive for the same.

Please note next Wednesday 8:50-9:39 is the all school chapel.  Plans are being made so we might enter by the side door as we did at the start of the year.

This is a test.

Google Apps for Education Summit

posted Nov 5, 2013, 7:17 PM by ESD Principal

This weekend, the school has been blessed to be able to send 12 individuals to the Google Apps for Education Summit at ISM. This 2 day event will feature dozens of sessions focusing on using Google Apps for Education to engage our learners.

Please be praying for Evangeline Tam and Kristine Llante as they attend. Ask God to bless their minds with understanding to grasp all that is presented to them. Ask God to broaden their vision with creative ideas to use technology to enhance their teaching in a way that is effective in engaging their students to maximize learning.

Pray also for Leighton Helwig as he drives the group to ISM on both days.
